You can grab the LINK tags referring to multiple CSS files and join referred CSS into one and rewrite the HTML to link joined file, the same javascripts, ...

You can even embed linked CSS/scripts/images into the HTML itself (if you are sure that modern browsers will be used then use the "data" URL scheme to embed images, css, scripts, whatever you need into the URL itself).

Depends on what is your goal and purpose of the pages. Less files (embed into one HTML) or fast pages (join external resources)...

Who knows maybe there are already some tools for this out there.

This seems to be very easy question for me so I am not sure if I really did understand your problem correctly. While I agree that it would be great to simply "not support" IE6, a large number of my users still use it, and what it comes down to is customer experience and usability. My customers need to have largely the same experience and usability features regardless of the browsers they're using. I can't simply ignore the IE6 users because IE6 can't display a properly written layout. I need to make accommodations for that browser. If my site doesn't look or work well for the IE6 users, they'll go elsewhere. For a personal site, blog, or open-source website, the idea is great. But when you write code for a living that generates tremendous amounts of revenue and page views, you can't simply ignore IE6 yet, as much as you, I, and nearly every other developer out there would like to.Derekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16903426392083915066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421903615286376978.post-58055980716435216342009-05-06T17:42:00.000+01:002009-05-06T17:42:00.000+01:00I don't really comment on using the prototype in t...I don't really comment on using the prototype in this example of a constructor. I definitely think the prototype should be used whenever it is sensible to do so as there is a performance gain. However, if few instances created and used and there are few functions on the object, then it becomes less of a concern. As in all things, use the correct tool at the correct time!James Nortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04054375264545036477noreply@blogger.com
